In Lecture 12 - Occupy, I describe my story at the Occupy Wallstreet Movement in the city I was living at the time. I title it, "The Story of a Young Economist Among Giants," and as you view the lecture you'll understand why I chose to this title, because I was simply behind the learned minds surrounding me at my local Occupy Encampment. Yet, that was then and now is the time I created this lecture. What this means is that I caught up to the understanding of my peers from that time and I present those understandings to you in a way that I believe is easily accessible and understood by you my audience! I hope you understand, that I literally believe I have taken enough time and dedicated myself enough to have the ability to explain these higher-level concepts in a fashion that all people can understand... at least that is my goal!

There is a great injustice done whenever I hear professors, the media, or politicians explain what it was that Occupier's wanted accomplished by our presence at cities around the World. I cringe as they always launch into an explanation of our purpose which is really just the cliff notes of the "Communist Manifestio" or "Das Kapital." They literally believe that every single person at Occupy was a Communist who desired the mandatory redistribution of Wealth from the 1%, or top 10%, back down to the other 90%. Fortunately, for me, as someone who actually went to Occupy and spent time talking to all of the different cliques (and trust me the cliques were stark and obvious) I know that this couldn't be farther from the truth. Therein lies the purpose of this lecture.
